Updates from the shop
TX750 - The “Tangerine Dream” is torn down and progress has been made in reviving the odd and rare Yamaha TX 750 to life. I got her fired up for the first time after sitting for who knows how many years and, as I hoped, she runs beautifully and sounds really healthy with little to no difference in sound than a XS650.
It’ll be a quick build that will result in a part...

100th Post
Since this is my 100th post to this site, rather than post another photo of some motorcycle part, I’d like to shift gears, pun intended, and say thanks to my friends, family and those of you who follow my site and participate with questions.
It’s a huge encouragement to me to post to this site and see new followers and messages. So, thanks to those who have believed in me to start my...

650 Project Update
The XS650 project, now dubbed “The Royal” is almost complete. Exhaust, carbs, paint and some small details are all that’s left.
I will begin posting “teaser” photos tomorrow.
"Los Muertos Vivientes" 650
I’m happy to soon begin on a xs650 Rat Bike. I’ve got a long dead rusty carcass, a parts motor, some random bits & pieces and some cool ideas to bring back to life the aptly named Los Muertos Viventes 650. Keep an eye out for it.

New XS650 Update:
The yet un-named 650 is coming along and nearing completion. The motor is built, the frame is finished, the tins are in for paint and the remainder of small parts that are not here are on their way.
I’ll be posting some teaser photos soon.
Winter break for "The Classic"
Hello Jay,
as the bike season is over here, “The Classic” is allowed to hibernate in our house…
I have a couple of months now, to get her street legal. Hopefully, the “Technical Inspection Agency” (sorry, no idea how to translate the name properly…), won´t give me too much trouble. Most probably I have to think about the exhaust and to install at least turn...
ricepaddymoto asked: How did you make the intake stacks for the XS400? Those are amazing!
