Everyone wants to know about the Speedster..
“Hey man, I really love your work and I wish I could buy one of your bikes but I’m from Europe so I just wanted to ask you if you’d give me some information about the parts you used while making “The Speedster”, it is a truly piece of art you made there (Deus Ex Machina-level stuff) :), thanks a lot and I hope you’ll respond to my question :)”
“I own a k1 SL350 that I’m turning into a brat familiar to “The Speedster’. Could you tell me about the suspension on the “The Speedster” (rear shock measurement from”eye to clevis”,and front suspension measurements). Also on”The Speedster” the tire was so close to the fender barely living any room for the shocks to absorb any impact. how is this safe? did you buy specific rear shocks? THNX”
Ok guys, I get a lot of questions about that bike so here’s a little of everything:
Stock 18” CB wheels front & rear, Firestone 3.50x18” tires, Honda Rebel shocks (10.5” eye to eye) with custom fab linkage, front forks slammed (I don’t want to hear about it), aluminum TT500 tank, stock fork covers/headlight brackets, stock headlight, custom seat, custom fender (yes it’s close, sometimes its just form over function, pick your heavy ass up when you go over a bump…) stock frame with extra brackets and tabs removed, battery relocated low under the swingarm, mostly stock everything else.
