The Royal sneak-peak:
Yeah, she’s done.. It’s been a great build and I’m really happy with how it came out. I got a little fine tuning to do and then we’ll hit the road and do a nice little photo shoot. I hope you all enjoy!

The Royal XS650 - For Sale (end of March after Bike Week)
A narrated walk-around of the Royal XS650, then I fire it up and take a few rips up and down the road. Shot for eBay listing, this coming Sunday, 4/10/11.
XS Rear Sets -
I’m working on fabricating my own rear sets for my current project the Hybrid Racer. Screw these guys and their $250 sets (pictured below) that still require a bunch of modification and minimal fabrication. I’ll build my own and then I’ll write a How-To fab. Looks like it shouldn’t cost more than $50 bucks!

Updates from the Shop - Cinco De Mayo edition
The Redline 650 Cafe Racer:
has taken priority over all else as it is nearly finished. The motor is fully together, wiring complete, custom seat was built today & goes to the upholsterers tomorrow, new shocks on the way and the custom rear-sets are the only thing left to fabricate. I’ll get some photo’s up when I get the new shocks on..
The Speedster 350:
is basically finished. I just have to get the motor setup (points, valve gap, etc..) and get her running. I’ll get some photos of her, as she stands, on here soon.
The Copper Devil 650:
is back in the shop after it’s long hiatus from sitting in my foyer collecting dust… I’ve just got to get the wiring finished and get her fired up, then I’m going to tear it all apart and redo some stuff as I’ve been working on this bike for over a year now and I’m just not happy with it.
Olay!

The Redline 650 - Rear Sets linkage progress
I’ve got all of the hardware either in my possession or on it’s way. All of the brackets have been built and when all of the parts come in, it’ll take about a day to finish.
Overall, these sets will cost about $50. When it’s all complete I’ll post a tutorial on how to build them yourself!
The Redline 650 -
I got my seat back from the upholsterers today. It came out great! I built the seat pan and foamed it but I couldn’t be happier with the vinyl work!!

The finished “Copper Devil” show bike.
After a year in the making and nearly another year sitting, the Copper Devil is at last finished and running.
There is so much detail and one-off fabrication on this bike, including the custom one-off frame built by me, Jay of Vintage Customs, ‘devil horns’ pipes, one-off handle bars, rear hand-brake, seat pan and leather work, copper rear fender by 7 Metal West, 21” front wheel on mid 80’s Suzuki forks, rear 16” Yahama wheel with a double white wall Shinko tire and much more!
